Xalostoc La Hacienda Santa Maria is one of the most beautiful historical rooms of the region. It has been restored with great care and attention by its owners over the last twenty years. The work done rescuing the materials and techniques used at different times in which the property was built, including, for example, natural paintings that were used in colonial times. This effort led to the hacienda in 2001 winning the National Award for Historic Restoration.
