Until recently, visiting an Hacienda you needed to be friends or and acquaintance of the owner to allow you access, now anyone can learn how people lived on the haciendas. In Tlaxcala there are haciendas that offer lodging, restaurant, meeting rooms and special events there are tours that leave the city of Tlaxcala to visit three haciendas in one day.
