St. Michael the Archangel Sanctuary
In the year 1631 to Diego Lazaro de San Francisco, who was in a
procession, the Archangel appeared to him without others
noticing and ordered him to convey to people that he would make
water sprout from a ravine near a spring of healing water to
cure diseases.
As he did not comply for fear of not being given credit, the
Archangel punished him and he fell ill. Being in dire need of
death he appeared again, but now all saw a great light fill the
room, leaving frightened. When they returned, they found him
healthy and told them that Archangel had taken him to the place
with his staff brought forth the miraculous water and gave him
health. Then the demons fled in droves.
It was so that miraculous events began to this day they continue
and it was there that immediately built a hermitage. In the
atrium is the well of healing water, sheltered in a small chapel.
The holiday is on September 29th, but throughout the month it
receives hundreds of pilgrims from around the country.
