XVI century building, with a single tower located at one end of the court, its Moorish style ceiling with wood and gold, is considered the best preserved of America. His altarpieces keep authenticity thanks to the restoration work carried out with grants from the Spanish Crown.
At the foot of the cathedral is the Plaza de Toros. An unusual composition in a land where magic is mixed with reality. This set is part of the Open Chapel, considered as the oldest of its kind, it was here where he carried out the first encounters with the Tlaxcala Franciscans.
